Lease Terms & Pricing

Rental rates at Alexander Village vary based on floor plan and availability. Please visit our floor plans page for the most up-to-date rates. To select your perfect home: check availability, select your desired move-in date and preferred lease term to view detailed pricing options and pricing calendar. Prices and availability are subject to change. Base rent is on monthly frequency. Additional fees may apply, such as but not limited to utilities, package delivery, trash, water, amenities, etc. Deposits vary. Please contact a representative for more details.

We frequently feature seasonal leasing specials such as a free month’s rent or reduced security deposits. Contact the leasing team for the latest details. Move-in specials and availability are subject to change.

Alexander Village offers 3- to 15-month lease options. Lease terms are subject to change without notice.
Month-to-month options may be available after the initial lease term ends. Residents who transition to month-to-month will incur an additional monthly fee. Lease terms are subject to change without notice.

Touring & Applying

Alexander Village offers escorted in-person and self-guided tour options so you can explore available apartments and community amenities before applying. You can schedule a tour through our website or by calling the leasing office directly.

The application process is easy! 1) Select a floor plan and check availability online or with the leasing office. 2) Schedule a tour. 3) Submit a rental application online or in person, including personal, employment, and financial information. 4) The leasing team reviews your application, conducts background and credit checks, and confirms eligibility. 5) Upon approval, sign your lease, pay deposits, and schedule your move-in date. 6) The leasing office will provide information about utilities, parking, and pet policies.
Applicants must provide a government-issued photo ID and income verification. This may include recent pay stubs or bank statements submitted through Snappt. Co-applicants must complete their own applications.
Application approvals typically take 24–72 hours once all required documentation is submitted.
No. Approval is based on multiple factors including income, rental history, credit profile, identity verification, and background screening.
Yes, guarantors are accepted for income qualification only. Guarantors must earn 4 times the monthly rent, and only one guarantor is allowed per apartment.

Rent & Insurance

Rent is due as stated in your lease. A late fee of 5% of the total rent is applied after the 7th of the month.
Yes. Residents must maintain renters insurance with at least $300,000 in liability coverage and list Alexander Village and Berkshire Communities as required interested parties.

Fees & Move-In

Move-in dates depend on current availability. If your selected home is ready, move-in can often occur within one week of application approval. Our leasing team will work closely with you to coordinate your preferred move-in date.
Applicants must earn 2.5 times the monthly base rent. Combined income may be used for multiple leaseholders.

Utilities & Parking

Utilities are not included in the base rent. Residents pay for water, sewer, trash, valet trash (if applicable), pest control, and electricity. Electricity is arranged directly through Duke Energy.

Yes. All vehicles must be registered with the community.
Guests may park in open, unreserved spaces and are encouraged to park near the clubhouse.
Yes. Valet trash service is provided Sunday–Thursday, excluding federal holidays.

Pet Policy

Yes. Alexander Village is a pet friendly community. Dogs and cats are welcome, with a maximum of two pets per apartment.

There is no weight limit. The following breeds are generally prohibited: 

  • Akita 
  • American Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier (aka Pit Bull) 
  • Presa Canario 
  • Chow Chow 
  • Doberman Pinscher 
  • German Shepherd 
  • Great Dane 
  • All Husky & Malamute breeds 
  • Rottweiler 
  • Wolf/Restricted breed mix 

Service animals are generally exempt regardless of breed. Management must approve all animals. Lease holders and applicable occupants are required to complete a Pet Screening Profile. See our pet friendly page for more details.

  • Pet Fee: $300 (1 pet) / $500 (2 pets) 
  • Pet Rent: $30/month (1 pet) / $60/month (2 pets)

Amenities & Community Features

Community amenities include a fitness center, saltwater pool, dog park, clubhouse, business center, bike storage, hammock garden, and smoke-free community spaces.

Yes. The clubhouse can be rented from 4:00 PM–10:00 PM for $500, accommodating up to 35 guests. Contact the leasing office for details.

Renewals & Move-Out

Residents must provide a 60-day written notice before vacating or non-renewing.

Early lease termination requires a 30-day written notice and a fee equal to two months’ rent, plus repayment of any concessions received.

Community Location & Office Information

Alexander Village is located at 9224 Graham Ridge Drive in Charlotte, NC 28262, in the Mallard Creek area near University City. The community offers easy access to I-85 and I-485, as well as nearby shopping, dining, major employers, and UNC Charlotte, making it a convenient location for both work and everyday living.
